Venue:

The AGRF meetings will be at SOFITEL HOTEL IVOIRE, Abidjan Ivory Coast

Checking Registration Status:

Please log into your AGRF account which you set up when you were registering to check if your registration has been approved and confirmed. You can also check if your accommodation has been confirmed as well as view and download your invoices and receipts.

Online registration will close on 31st July 2017

Registration on-site WILL NOT be allowed.

You will be required to produce an identification document to enable entry to the venue, preferably your Passport for International delegates and National Identity card for Ivorian residents.

Air Travel & Accommodation:

A polite reminder to request you to update your flight and accommodation details to enable us confirm and plan your airport pick up and drop off. Follow this LINK to manage your registration and to provide us with the necessary details in order for us to fully confirm your attendance. If we do not receive your flight details by 01 August 2017, you will have to arrange your own pick up and drop off.

Visas:

For those nationalities that require visas upon arrival, it is advisable to do so online https://snedai.com/visa-biometrique/

Persons from the countries below require referred visas, this is processed through the Ivory Coast Immigration Office in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. As per requirements indicated:

  • Cover letter
  • Payment receipt: 70 € short stay and 130 € long stay
  • Proof of business
  • Financial proof for the stay duration
  • Valid Passport six months minimum and a copy of the first three pages
  • 2 photos for client
  • S.T Approbation
  • ID copies for the person
  • Vaccine certificate
  • Ticket printout
  • Hotel voucher

Vaccination:

Yellow Fever vaccine is a requirement for all persons travelling to Ivory Coast, you will be required to provide your yellow fever certificate upon arrival and show it to Port Health Officers.

Accommodation:

Participants coming from outside Abidjan are expected to arrive and check in at hotels of their choice as provided on the website. All reservations and payments are done online through the registration portal.

Airport transfers:

AGRF’s assigned travel agent will provide airport transfers (for those booked through AGRF registration on website). Alternatively, kindly email your flight details to agrf@cbm-events.com  CBM voyages representatives will be waiting with placards indicating names of participants for the meetings at the International Arrivals section. Travel Insurance:

Kindly note that you are not covered under any travel, medical, accidental death, life or other insurance carried by AGRF. You may, however, take out your own travel insurance policy for this particular mission.

Information and Hospitality Desk:

Information and hospitality desks will be located at all the AGRF preferred hotels below. All reservations and payments are done online through the AGRF registration portal.

Delegates can obtain information on travel, transport, tours and car rental service here. Please contact the staff if you wish to reconfirm your tickets and outbound airport transfers. Airport transfer services are a complimentary service.

Meals/Bar/Extras:

A light lunch with an accompanying soft drink will be served on all days of the meetings to all. All accommodation is booked on bed and breakfast basis. The secretariat will not cater for meals consumed at the hotels or bar services offered at the hotels.

Special Dietary and Mobility Needs:

Please let the registration desk know if you have special dietary or mobility needs.

Name Badge:

You can collect your AGRF badge at the Sofitel Ivoire Abidjan starting 4th September 2017. Kindly carry an identification document such as your passport, driving license or national identification card. You will not be able to collect your badge if you do not have this document.

Please note there will be no registration of delegates at the Sofitel Ivoire Abidjan. Each delegate should have registered earlier to be able to pick up their access badge and this will be after presentation of the identification document and having their photograph taken. Thus, delegates cannot have their badges picked up by another person other than themselves.

Transfers to the Venue:

AGRF Secretariat has organized for transfers to the venue at scheduled hours. This information will be available at the AGRF information desks at the hotels.

Weather:

September is rainy in Abidjan and temperature is between 23° and 28°. Carry with you warm clothing.

Electric Voltage:

Current is 220/240AC 50HZ. Ivory Coast uses 240v type C Euro plug and the type E and type F Schucko sockets type, similar to the ones used in the UK. In order to use USA devices in Ivory Coast, make sure to have a plug adapter plus step-down transformer to convert 240v to 110v.

Liability:

The AGRF organizing committee shall not be liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property suffered or caused by registered delegates and accompanying persons of the Forum. Delegates are encouraged to make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.
